Infrared Thermography Division Seeing Problems before they become a crisis Typically Industrial Electrical and Mechanical problems
start to occur when temperature values increase by 10 deg C or more above
the norm. Our state of the art equipment has the ability to detect temperature differentials as small as 0.08 deg C, using non-contact methods which are carried out whilst systems continue to operate normally, and without disruption to end users Regular Infrared Monitoring of critical systems and equipment can be used to formulate Predictive Maintenance Procedures resulting in cost effective use of maintenance budgets and reducing the risk of unexpected, catastrophic, and costly failures and outages
Viewed in a different Light Infrared radiation lies between the Visible (what our eyes
can see) and Microwave portions of the Electromagnetic Spectrum. The primary source of Infrared radiation is heat or thermal radiation and the ability to view this portion of the spectrum allows objects to be seen in a completely different dimension. The ability to monitor systems and plant whilst active and under normal load conditions cannot be equalled by normal inspection and maintenance techniques which are normally performed when equipment is shut down or switched off What you see What we see Bearing overheating

APPLICATIONS AND USAGES The following examples are common applications where Thermography can be used to great advantage.
